Every dollar goes into the grow.
Every dollar of profit from the shop goes back into building the grow. Not most of it. All of it. And once a month I show you what it bought.
What counts as profit
Profit is what you paid, less what the printer charges to make and mail it, Stripe’s card fee and any sales tax. What’s left is the profit, and all of it goes into the build: framing, insulation, the door, the air, whatever is next on the list.
The 2x4 rule
No amount is too small to show you. Ten to fifteen dollars of profit is one 2x4, and you’ll watch me screw it into the wall. A better month is two 2x4s and a box of screws.

The small print
- Buying a shirt isn’t a donation. It’s a shirt. This page is so you can watch the money turn into a room.
- Money that hasn’t been spent yet waits for the next thing on the list. It doesn’t go anywhere else.
- The build is the garage. The plan is in the grow log. The measurements, and what grows in there, I keep to myself.
- Nothing in the shop is cannabis, seeds or smoking gear.
