Affiliate disclosure

Right now there are no affiliate links on this site, and nobody pays me to mention anything.

I’d like the site to pay for itself one day, so here are the rules I’ll follow when that changes.

Affiliate links

• An affiliate link will be labeled as one, and the page it’s on will say so above the first link.
• I’ll only link to gear I’ve used, and I’ll say what’s wrong with it as well as what’s right.
• A commission never changes what I say about a product. If it’s junk, the page says it’s junk.
• I’ll only join programs whose rules allow a site about growing cannabis.

Sponsorship and free gear

• Anything sponsored will say so at the top.
• Anything given or lent to me will be marked as given or lent.
• A company can look at how I plan to test something beforehand. It can’t see or change the result before it’s posted.
• Results get published whichever way they go.

Breeder links

Breeder pages link to breeders’ own websites so you can check the facts at the source. Those aren’t affiliate links, and I’m not paid for them.
