Just a guy trying to grow.
I’m Jason. I grow at home. I wanted a better way to keep track of my grows: simple when I’m busy, detailed when I want the data. Nothing out there fit, so I’m building it.
Learn with me. Not from me.
I’m not an expert. I call things ready when they aren’t. I overwater. My tape measure and my floor plan have never agreed on anything. What I do is write down what happened, including the parts that went wrong.
If you pick something up from that, good. If you know better than me, I’d like to hear it. That goes double for the strain library, which is mostly holes right now.
Everything on this site is a project with an honest status next to it. Some are live. Some are a pile of parts in a garage. See the project list.
Who’s the fly
Mr Dookie.
He’s the mascot. A fly in a knit beanie who turned up one day and stayed.
On this site he doesn’t talk. He sits in the corner and watches, and I can feel him having opinions. He has never once shared them.
He talks plenty on his own site. He runs Le Dookie, a clothing brand: haute couture for the couch. He’s a lot smarter over there.
The house rules.
I don’t sell weed.
No cannabis, no seeds, no smoking gear. The shop is shirts and stickers.

This site is for people 21 and over. Follow the law where you live. I can’t tell you what it is.

Nothing here is medical or legal advice. I’m a guy with a garage.
Experiments can fail.
If a test goes against what I expected, that’s what gets posted. That’s the interesting part anyway.
No trackers.
No analytics scripts, no ad pixels, no email pop-up. The app is stricter still.
Facts with sources.
Strain data is names and numbers with credits. I don’t copy anyone’s descriptions, reviews or photos.
If a brand ever pays for something on this site, it’ll say so right next to it. Nobody has. Work with me explains how that would go.
